I was getting tired of the old blog back ground so I found something else that I like a little bit better. We’ll see how long this one last. :)

Happy Birthday Little One!

This past weekend was very busy, but a lot of fun. Two of Ryan’s sisters and there kids came for the weekend. We had a total of 11 people so it was a full house. On Saturday we went to Bear World. The kids had a lot of fun. We were able to drive through the park in our own cars and see some of the bears, but the best part was probably when we took the tour and were able to feed the bears from a big truck. We also went into the little petting area where they had everything from deer to pigs that the kids could pet. Bear world also had a few little rids that the kid really enjoyed.

Sunday was Connors first birthday. It was so nice to actually have family here to share in the fun. We had a small BBQ and then opened some presents. Alex did most of the opening, but Connor could have cared less. I think he still had fun especially when he got his very own cake to dig into. After cake and ice cream Zhalore and Lisa (Ryan’s sisters) had to head home.

It really was a great weekend. Alex had so much fun with her cousins that it just makes me wish that we leaved closer to family. They have only been gone for a day and Ally has been asking when she gets to play with them again. How do you explain to a three year old that they leave far way? At lest she has so good friends here in Idaho.

Here are just a few pictures of our fun weekend.

The joy of being a home owner

Ryan was gone all last week for work and just got home this past Sun. We were down stairs in our guess/office room playing with our new camera that we had just got a few days earlier. I got up and walking into the connecting bathroom only to find water dripping from the ceiling and a puddle on the floor. Welcome home Ry.
I looked up and noticed that there was a bubble on the ceiling where the water was coming from I called Ryan in and we popped it. Water came poring out. We started to pill back the paint only to find mold and soggy sheet rock. There was nothing that we could do on a Sun. so we left it.
Mon. morning. Ryan had taken the next two days off and so we started. Ryan first was just going to try and scrap the mold off but it only got worse as he was scrapping it off his tool went thought the sheet rock and a big chunk came down reveling even more mold behind it. Oh great! Ryan finished ripping out all the wet sheet rock and the Tue. we had a few people come by to look at it.
It’s not as bad has we thought, but it’s defiantly no fun. Right now we are at a stand still because both of the people that came to look at it told us we would need to let it dry out for a few days before they could do anything with it. So that is just what we are doing.
Of all weekend for this to be a problem it had to be this one. We have family coming up to stay with us because Connors birthday is on Sun and it’s the last weekend before a lot of schools start.

.Friends for life

This was the one good picture that we got of the two of them. They both have changed so much in the past 6 months.

Funny Face

Alex had her pictures taken before we had the two of them together, by this time she was getting sick of all of us telling her to smile so she started to pull faces, but they still turned out cute or at lest we think so.

Alex and Connor kissing

I think everyone has seen our most recent pictures of the kids but if not here are some.
At the time of the pictures Alex is was 31/2 and Connor was 11 mth.

Alex is going to hate me when she gets older.

I have been trying to catch up on me scrap booking and I came across these pics of Ally. I couldn’t help it, I had to share. This was right after Christmas and I had just got her a swimsuit trying to plan ahead for summer and well she found it, but didn’t know what was the front and what was the back. She also wanted to go out side and knew it was cold so put on her hate. Ryan and I got a good laugh out of it.
